One of the Jesuits key ministries is among young adults, engaging with them and encouraging them to grow as adults by providing the resources, time and wisdom that each individual needs to discover meaning and self-fulfillment in their lives. Slí Eile In 2001 four separate elements of Jesuit work with young adults came together under the umbrella of Slí Eile - a different way. Slí Eile Volunteer Communities A one year volunteer programme for young adults. Volunteers live a simple lifestyle in community. Spirituality and a work placement form an important part of the year. Volunteers, mainly from Ireland, between 18 -30 desire to find God in all things, especially in the most poor and marginalised members of Irish society.
