blogalogue_01Irish Jesuit Paul Campbell, publishing editor of Loyola Press in Chicago has Pat Coyle of the Jesuit Communication Centre as his guest ‘blogalogger’ on his People for Others website, this week, Monday 18 to Friday 22 July. Every day each of them responds to a question which has been asked by the other, and anyone can join in the conversation online. On Monday Paul asked Pat how Ignatian spirituality spoke to her, and she wrote back about the powerful prayer of St Ignatius, known as The Suscipe (Take Lord, receive). Responding to a question from Pat about the high rate of avowed religious affiliation in the United States Paul noted that “According to Mr. Google, 92% of Americans believe in God, 83% are Christians and a majority of Americans say that religion is “very important” in their lives. But it could all change very quickly.”
