  • 12 and 19 October at Manresa: Gerry O’Hanlon SJ will give three talks on A Renewed Vision for the Church. From 8.00pm to 9.30pm.
  • Wednesdays of October: 8 pm, Gardiner Street Church:Brendan Comerford SJ will give a  four-week course  on ‘Teachers of Prayer – the Mystics’
  • 14 October: Haddington Road Church, 8pm – lecture sponsored by Patrick Claffey, Milltown Institute: Fr Joseph McCann on Spirituality and World Religions. Follow-up lecture in Haddington Road Church, also at 8pm: Clifford Longley on Catholic Social Teaching – irrelevant or The Answer?

  • 21 October: Todd Morrissey SJ book launch in Clonliffe College, Dublin 3 at 7pm. Entitled  ‘Edward J Byrne, 1872-1941: The Forgotten Archbishop of Dublin, the book will be launched by Professor Dermot Keogh, UCC
  • 27 October, 7.30 p.m. Holy Family Church, Youghal, Co. Cork: Blessed Dominic Collins SJ Memorial Mass and lecture: Homilist: Fr. Senan Timoney. Lecture by Fr. Barney McGuckian SJ, “Witness to Faith in Difficult Times”, follows after Mass in the church hall. All welcome.
