The Irish Jesuit Mission office is located in 28 Upper Sherrard Street, Dublin 1, Ireland. The aim of this office is to support the Irish Jesuit missionaries and volunteers working in Africa and Asia.
Our personnel abroad work in education, health, human rights, pastoral activities, refugee work and spirituality. It recruits suitable volunteers who wish serve from 6 months to 3 years in projects overseas. It actively seeks funds to support projects and personnel in the developing countries.
According to the Jesuit Missions Charter, the "mission of international solidarity, especially with the poor, and of engagement with peoples of other cultures is inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ whose mission we share. His life of faith, love and service, prophetic solidarity with the poor, openness and generosity, healing and hope, and final suffering, death and resurrection are the source of the life we seek to share with others."
