The ever-popular JRS Ireland Intercultural and Interfaith Calendar 2011 is available now. The calendar this year is aimed at raising awareness of diversity in Ireland. Each month it highlights religious feast days from different faiths, national days, international UN celebrations, and bank holidays in the Republic of Ireland. Each month is also themed with a JRS Ireland Integration Value. Underpinning each integration value is a personal reflection from migrants or advocates on their behalf. “These integration values are necessary to create an open, inclusive and dynamic Irish society where all are valued, regardless of their nationality, religion or ethnic background,” says JRS Director Eugene Quinn; “and the calendar is an excellent resource for people who wish to raise awareness and understanding of intercultural and interfaith issues in Ireland.” To order your copy, call Nicola Morris at 01 8148644 or email [email protected].
