santa_01JRS Ireland Dublin office ran a successful Toy Appeal, receiving toys for more than one hundred asylum-seeking and refugee children. The organiser of the appeal was Audrey Hogan of MAGIS Ireland, and its success ensured a memorable Christmas party in Clondalkin Towers on 20th December. All 80 of the children who attended received a Christmas gift from Santa Claus. A special thanks to Fergal Laing and Rory Pearse for their help on the day. The remainder of the toys were given to 20 children living in Hatch Hall Reception Centre and other families supported by JRS.  In Limerick, JRS Ireland assisted in the organisation of a Christmas Party for 62 children in Knockalisheen Accomodation Centre. JRS Ireland would like to acknowledge the generosity of all who supported the Christmas Appeal.
