And this all day buses have been arriving from all over Spain, Portugal, South of France and North Africa. MAGIS pilgrims arrive in Madrid for WYD, after a week (from 8 – 14 August) of experiences in groups of 25 people between 18 and 30 years old from different nationalities. MAGIS 2011 is the international Ignatian pastoral experience for youth from all over the world, organised by the Society of Jesus, alongside other religious congregations inspired by Ignatian spirituality. This afternoon, the Provincial of the Jesuits of Spain, Fr. Francisco José Ruiz Pérez SJ, will preside over the mass that will incorporate MAGIS into WYD. Here, young people, as well as MAGIS volunteers will join in celebration.
