mharte_01Mickey Harte, Manager of the Tyrone  Football team and Pat Coyle, Manager of the Jesuit Communication Centre, were two of the guest speakers at the Novena of Perpetual Help, in the Corpus Christi Church Moyross, Limerick, 17- 25 June. They were invited by  Tony O’Riordain SJ who has been working as curate there for almost a year. A packed Church heard Mickey Harte tell how God and Michaela, his tragically murdered daughter, give him and his family the strength to cope with the difficult times. “It is probably when the times are difficult that they are more close to us. That belief gives me solace and strength and the ability to know that it is a day at a time. That is the only way we can live our life now, and that gives me hope. If we are not people of hope, we are in a bad place.”
