Senator Marie Louise O’Donnell, reporting for the Pat Kenny Show on RTE 1, paid a visit to Crescent College Comprehensive in Limerick on Tuesday 18 Oct. In her ten-minute slot she enthused about the atmosphere of the school, the nutritious meals in the canteen, and the fact that they were available to all pupils, irrespective of their means. Listen here (1 hour, 17 mins in). And Brian Lennon SJ (pictured here) was a panelist on the Charlie Bird progamme, live from Navan, on RTE radio 1. Other guests included Nuala O’Loan, Patsy Mc Garry, and an invited audience. They were discussing the future of the Catholic Church and Brian said it would help if the Pope would visit Ireland and make a pubic gesture of repentance for the way the Church had responded to the clerical sexual abuse scandals. Listen here (Brian’s contribution starts 38 mins in).
